The studio has a standard longitudinal layout, common on Santa Maria, with the bathroom and sleeping area to the rear of the property and the lounge, kitchen and balcony doors at the front. It is well designed in that even though it is a studio you do have different areas for sleeping, eating and later lounging around. In many ways they are superior to conventional studios. This studio is in a very quiet area of the complex overlooking the reception area, therefore there is far less noise from the swimming pool area and bars. The property faces West so it has sunshine in the afternoon with some spectacular sunsets. There are also some partial sea views from the terrace
The bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink and for rentals will require that you add a washing machine (200€ – 300€) The kitchen is a galley style kitchen – simple but sufficient for a holiday apartment. The sleeping area is large enough for two single beds or a large double and is partially partitioned off from the lounge. And at the far end of the lounge you have double doors leading out onto the balcony.
If you´re not familiar with the Santa Maria complex, its a 3 star Apart Hotel with full hotel facilities – everything you would expect to find on holiday – a 24 hour reception, heated swimming pool children’s pool, sun terraces and sun loungers, on site restaurant, bar and pool bar as well as a tennis court, elevators to every floor, vending machines, a beauty and make up salon etc.
It is also very well located in Torviscas Bajo with restaurants and bars right outside, supermarkets, cash machines, taxi ranks etc are all within a minute of the complex. The beach is also close by – a few minutes walk downhill. The hotel and this area are ever popular with tourists and the demand for short term rental accommodation is very high
