All of the apartments are large and spacious with interior sizes measuring from 76m2 to 84m2. The apartments are being sold fully furnished to a high standard. The complex has a touristic license, 24 hour reception etc and functions as a holiday resort 365 days per year. You can choose to place your apartment with reception who will rent it out for you or you can keep it just for personal use, the choice is yours. Compared to other areas of Tenerife with touristic apartments, these prices are very low, you would typically pay well over 180,000€ for a similar property in the South of Tenerife.

Los Gigantes area

If you are not familiar with Los Gigantes it is on the West Coast of the island built on a steep hill at the bottom of which you have a marina, beach and town. The complex is at the bottom on the flat and is just a few minutes walk from the Blue Flag Beach of Playa de La Arena. The area where Club La Mar is situated is called Puerto Santiago and is popular with holidaymakers of all ages although the over 40´s are the predominant crowd, it doesn’t attract the club 18-30 type at all. Los Gigantes moves at a much slower pace than the resorts in the South and has its own set of travelers who would not holiday anywhere else. The downsides to buying in Los Gigantes can be the transfers from the airport. If you have your own place there and don’t drive then it is a lot further from the airport than the Southern resorts but most people hire a car for a week or so and drive up and the longer you are staying the less important it becomes. Also, if you buy up the hill then it is very steep and on a hot day it isn’t a pleasant walk back from the beach with 3 kids in tow. Buying at the bottom or not too far up is definitely a better option!

Rental income

The new touristic reception has been open for 6 months now and the apartments are being let out at a high capacity. Prices for a weeks stay in one of these apartments are currently around 400€ and 500€ per week. The letting agent on site charges 20% for generating and managing bookings leaving you with a very health and hands free income.
