but we´ll have some later this week for you! What we do have though is a couple of websites you should check out if you are a regular visitor to Tenerife, resident here, thinking about buying or already own/live here.
Getting information is easy, ask any bar fly in Tenerife and he´ll have the answer to all your questions – or his “mate” will! Getting good information on the other hand can be very difficult as so many think they know what they are talking about when in fact they really do not! A couple of websites here that you might find useful and that I personally recommend you check out:
The Tenerife Forum has been going for around 5 or 6 years now, has over 20,000 members, 50,000 subjects or “threads” and over 600,000 individual answers! A lot of banter and conversation (and a fair smattering off rubbish from more than a few of the members) amongst what is some of the most timely an valuable information about Tenerife. Basically, if there is something you don´t know but want to know you can probably get an answer here within a few hours, if not minutes! Just beware some of the company “recommendations” on there as I have personally seen recommendations of companies I wouldn´t touch with a bargepole (especially the estate agents) but overall an excellent resource! And of course, I am a member myself, let me know if you want my username to check out my profile and reputation on there 
If you are buying a property and intend to transfer cash over for the purchase or have a property and transfer money each month or for any other reason need to transfer a lump sum to Tenerife or monthly amounts into your bank in Tenerife you should get yourself registered with a professional currency exchange company. There are hundreds to choose from and we have worked with a lot of them. eTenerife.com is a website and blog created by Julie Hume, a long time resident of Tenerife and subject expert. Lots of different topics are covered from business services, family life on the island, health matters, golf, holidays here – you name it and you can find Julies very own personal view on it on eTenerife.com. Well worth checking out if you are looking for “real” information from those who have been there and done it. Julie also has her own eTenerife.com Facebook fanpage here appropriately enough called http://www.facebook.com/tenerife.information so if you have a facebook account, click on through and press “like” to join her fan page.
Avoiding bull**** and drivel!
Here at TenerifeEstateAgents.net we like to provide you with as much information as you could possibly need about property in Tenerife, we don´t talk rubbish and there´s no sales patter either. I personally read a lot of blogs and newsletters (or should that be “sales letters”) from some of the agents here and disappointingly they are rarely anything but self-serving marketing drivel that no one wants and no-one needs.
As such, I promise you will never find such rubbish here. It´s pure information without the “I´ve been in Tenerife for 25 thousand years and I am THE expert on blah, blah, blah… please buy from us!!!!” I don´t like it and I don´t do it so will always strive to bring you the info you want without all the marketing spiel. Anything we cannot cover you should find on the three websites above but if there is something specific you would like to know about Tenerife property please add a comment below and we will certainly take it under consideration be it mortgages, property tax, property prices, specific areas of Tenerife to live in, rental prices, buy-to-let property – anything you can think of. Give us some ideas and we´ll put something together with our “no sales drivel” guarantee!
