The property consists of a lounge area of a decent size with an integrated kitchen unit, currently outfitted with a 2 ring hob, fridge and sink – functional but you ain´t going to be making a Sunday roast here…! The lounge has double doors out onto a private terrace of 6m2, big enough for a table and four chairs or 2 sun loungers. From the terrace you have partial sea views to the right and the terrace receives lots of sunshine from early in the day. There is a road outside of the complex which the terrace faces onto but you cannot see it due to the communal gardens. You do hear vehicles going past but it is not a busy road so this isn’t a major issue. The bedroom is to the rear of the apartment on the inside of the complex, it remains nice and cool and is very quiet.
To leave the complex from the apartment you need to go up one level or if you are going to the pool you go down a level. There are steps up and down but if steps are an issue there is also an elevator that stops on each level.
The Panorama complex
The complex is 28 years old, built in 1984. It was fully renovated in 1997 and upkeep since then has been very good so whilst the design is not a modern one the complex is well kept and pleasant which is one of the reasons it is so popular. There are around 170 properties in total on the complex and the blocks terrace back and up the hill so when looking for an apartment, most people want to be near the front where there are far fewer steps and you are much closer to the pool, the bars, complex entrance and the coast. This one we have for sale is towards the front of the complex, close to the reception so is in a good position compared to a lot of other apartments.
There is a 24 hour reception on site, a swimming pool, additional children’s pool, pool bar, air conditioned restaurant, a TV room (does anyone really use these anymore??!) and has Internet terminals, car rental, excursion booking etc.
It is a very popular complex in a good area. Just down from the complex is the coast and Puerto Colon and the Marina. Next to Puerto Colon you have La Pinta Beach or “Playa La Pinta” so everything is right on your doorstep. Opposite the complex is the 5 star hotel Jardin Tropical.
How does the price stack up?
There aren’t a great deal of properties for sale on Panorama given the size of the complex and what we generally find is that when they do come up for sale they are generally quite expensive unless they are to the rear of the complex where people dont really want to be. So to have one in at the right end of the complex at such a low price is rare indeed. The standard asking price of a one bedroom apartment such as this one would usually be in excess of 145,000€.
Currently there are studios between 105,000€ (poor position) and 130,000€ (best position) we have one for 115,000€ ourselves in a good position. There to our knowledge no other 1 beds for sale and the only 2 bed we could fine is for sale at over 400,000€! So if you are looking for a one bedroom apartment in this sort of area on a good complex, this one is well worth checking out as it is easily the best priced property on the Panorama complex!
