This is a rather unique property in that there are very few 3 or 4 bed villas in the Torviscas Bajo area. You have literally everything right on your doorstep but the villa is located far enough away from the front of the complex that you get no noise from traffic or any of the bars. Next door is the Santa Maria hotel and across the road is the Hotel La Nina complete with gymnasium, spa and 24 hour parking (handy, as parking is a nightmare down here!) La Pinta Beach is a 2 minute walk from the complex and you have some excellent bars and restaurants in the area, for example, just 50 feet from the entrance to Las Carabelas is one of the best Chinese buffets in the South of Tenerife! On the beach front there are numerous restaurants serving, steak, Italian, Spanish, seafood etc.

The complex of Las Carabelas is very well maintained with immaculate gardens. The top pool has been completely reformed recently and looks stunning. The lower pool is currently scheduled to be re-tiled and will be vastly improved. It has a large shallow end so is ideal for small children. We can´t think of any disadvantages to the area or the complex – community fees are low, the other owners and guests on the complex are cordial and polite, most of them visiting for several months at a time and using the properties primarily as holiday homes. The community is in excellent shape and the president on the complex is easy going and helpful. You do not need to have a car here as everything is nearby and within a few minutes walk and if you want to get around the island there are taxis and bus stops in the area.
