The main road is just a minute from the village though and this leads down onto the motorway (soon to be extended) meaning driving down into Costa Fanabe only takes 10 minutes. Whilst the main resorts are only a short drive away Tijoco is an unspoilt area and is well worth a visit and a drive around if you have never been before or heard of the place. Playa San Juan is about the same distance away in the other direction although it is a slightly longer drive so you are well positioned if you enjoy exploring the island, visit the resorts but would rather live outside of them.

Definitely worth a look if you are thinking of moving over to the island and need a house with plenty of space and storage.
